September Scholarships:
Quest Bridge National College Match - Due September 27, 2022
Is open to high-achieving, low-income high school seniors.  Please refer to the link above for more information.
 
October Scholarships:
AES Engineering Scholarships - Due October 8, 2022
This award is available to high school seniors nation wide who plan on attending a post secondary educational facility.  You are NOT required to be taking engineering courses.
 
Wendy's High School Heisman - Due October 18, 2022 by 3pm Eastern Time
National scholarship opened to male and female athletes with a B average and participation in a minimum of one eligible sport.  Please refer to the scholarship link above for more information.
 
Coca-Cola Scholars Program Scholarship - Due October 31, 2022 by 5pm Eastern Time
Any current high school senior in the nation who carries a minimum GPA of 3.0. 
 
November Scholarships:
The Elks Most Valuable Student scholarship contest is open to any high school senior who is a US Citizen. Applicants will be judged on scholarship, leadership, and financial need. Applications are available online beginning September 1, 2021.
 
December Scholarships:
$2,000 per year renewable for up to four years.  All Delaware resident students applying for full-time Freshman admission for the Fall of 2022 into the College of Engineering at the University of Delaware before December 10, 2021 will be considered for this scholarship.  NO ADDITIONAL SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION OR ESSAY REQUIRED.  
 
Mar-Del Watermelon Association Scholarship - Application and essay must be postmarked by December 15, 2022
Any Delaware or Maryland high school senior enrolling in college for undergraduate studies in the fall of 2022.  Intended major must be in agriculture or related field (forestry, aquaculture, animal science, plant science, ag-business, ag-economics, ag-engineering, biology, chemistry, or genetics).
 
One time award of $1,500 to $4,000 for Freshman year for any graduating Senior who will enroll in an Engineering Program at an ABET accredited college/university in the Fall of 2022.  Minimum SAT scores: Math - 600, Verbal - 500, Writing - 500.
 
One time award (scholarship value to be determined) for any female high school senior enrolling in an Engineering Program at an ABET accredited college/university in the Fall of 2022.  Minimum SAT scores: Math - 600, Verbal - 500, or Minimum ACT scores: Math - 29, English - 25.
 
 
January Scholarships:
Ron Brown Scholar Program - Application must be postmarked or emailed by January 9, 2023
Renewable four-year scholarship available to any African-American Senior planning to attend a four-year college/university demonstrating financial need and an interest in public service, community engagement, business entrepreneurship, and/or global citizenship.
 
One time award of $2,500 to any Delaware Senior with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and an outstanding leadership and community service record.  Requires an essay and two letters of recommendation.
 
Any student on the Delmarva Peninsula with a focus on music performance, education, or composition.
 
Scholarships are awarded annually and must be used at one of the 1890 Historically Black Land-Grant Universities.  Please refer to the link for more information.
 
February Scholarships:
Any public high school senior in Kent County 
 
A one time award of $10,000 for a high school senior who will be attending an accredited college/university in the fall of 2022.  Students who are chosen at the state level will move on to compete at the National level.  Applicants are required to have a 3.0 cumulative GPA, must hold a valid hunting license, be an active member of the NWTF, demonstrate leadership qualities, and submit an essay along with two letters of recommendations.
 
The Dover Branch of American Association of University Women (AAUW) deadline for submission is February 1, 2021.
Qualified applicants must be female high school seniors graduating in 2021 and attending a college or university in the fall of 2021.

Any female student graduating from a Delaware State public high school that is a citizen or permanent resident of the United States and has a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.

Two scholarships are available to students seeking a bachelor's degree at an eligible 1890 and 1994 Land-Grant University in the field of agriculture, food, natural resource sciences, or related field.

Any female high school senior with a minimum 2.5 GPA
 
Any high school senior through graduate student who is pursuing a hospitality management degree.
 
Any graduating high school senior, undergraduate, or graduate student of Hispanic heritage with a 3.0 GPA.  Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident with a valid permanent resident card
 
The Future of STEM Scholars Initiative (FOSSI) is a program providing scholarships and  professional development opportunities directed at furthering science, technology,  engineering and math (STEM) education in students from underrepresented communities. If  selected, the student will receive a $40,000 scholarship award. This award will be disbursed  in the amount of $10,000 per year, for four (4) years, and will go directly to the institution in  which the student is enrolled. Selected students will also receive internship preparation and  placement, leadership training, mentoring and access to the AIChE student networking  opportunities. 
 
State of Delaware Scholarships - Due Friday, February 25, 2022 by 4:30PM EST
Any high school senior demonstrating financial need and academic excellence are invited to apply for State of Delaware Scholarships, which may cover full tuition, fees, room, board, and books.

March Scholarships:
Any high school seniors who are daughters, sons, grandsons, granddaughters, great-granddaughters, and great-grandsons of veterans who served in the armed forces during the eligibility dates for membership in the American Legion. Eligibility dates are April 6, 1917 through November 11, 1918 (WWI) and any time after December 7, 1941.
 
Graduating senior who has a documented illness that has impacted their ability to attend school
 
Any Delaware senior entering an accredited college pursuing a degree in a secretarial program.
 
Any high school senior who has faced and overcome great obstacles in their lives. Must meet financial need eligibility, be a U.S. citizen, and have 2.0 GPA or higher.
 
Renewable four year scholarship available for a Milford High School Senior with a 3.0 GPA who demonstrates financial need and planning to obtain a two year or four year degree. 
 
Any high school senior planning to attend University of Delaware who demonstrates financial need.
 
Any graduating Delaware senior and Delaware resident pursuing a career in health care or educations at any accredited post-secondary institution.
 
Graduating Delaware high school senior.
 
Graduating senior pursuing a music major at an accredited four-year institution.
 
Two $1,500 scholarships available to any Kent County senior with a minimum "B" average and displaying good citizenship.

Hearn Education Fund - Open to MHS Seniors that plan to enroll full-time accredited two-year of four-year college or vocational school and have a minimum GPA of 2.5.
 
Any Delaware senior who is the son, daughter, or grandchild of a veteran, has financial need, and is studying nursing.

April Scholarships:
Up to $3,000 awarded to a high school senior who legally resides in Sussex County, Delaware planning to attend college/university to study landscape, horticulture, plant science, soils, and/or environmental quality.  Award is based on financial need, academic achievement, community service, and leadership.
 
Any high school senior who resides and attends school in Kent County, Delaware.
 
Any Delaware high school senior who is pursuing a degree in education.
 
$5,000 scholarship that is renewable scholarship for up to four years awarded to a blood descendant of the Hmong.  Minimum GPA requirement 2.0 and must meet financial need requirements.
 
Ten $5,000 scholarships available to economically challenged Taiwanese American seniors planning to attend an accredited college/university.  Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
 
An essay contest for any senior who is planning to major in education.
 
Sean A. Hudson Memorial Scholarship - Due the second Friday in April
A $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a Milford High School senior who displays a sense of service and cares deeply for the well-being of others.
 
Two $200 scholarships, made possible by The Inspiring Project, available to any Delaware high school senior or current college student.
 
Any high school senior pursuing a degree in petroleum engineering.
 
Any female high school senior residing in Kent County, Delaware with a 3.0 or higher GPA who has been accepted into a four-year college/university.  Requires two letters of recommendation and an essay.  Click on link above or email doverdeaauw@gmail.com for a link to the current application. 
 
$2,500 scholarship available to an female students pursuing a four-year degree in service - teaching, nursing, psychology, social work, clergy, etc.  Chosen candidate must commit to 50 hours of service at Girls, Inc. during the summer of 2022. 
 
Up to $1,000 awarded to a high school senior who demonstrates serving and investing in their community.
 
A $1,000 scholarship available to a Sussex County senior planning to attend Delaware State University demonstrating financial need.
 
Any dependent son and/or daughter of Air Force members on active duty, retired, or deceased while on active duty with a minimum GPA of 2.0.
 
Enrolled at Delaware State University majoring in criminal justice.
 
Any Delaware high school senior with an interest in a career in water resources and the environment.
 
For a HS Senior enrolled in the high schools of Milford, Lake Forest, Indian River, Cape Henlopen, and Woodbridge School Districts who plans to study education in college to become a teacher.

 

Open to any high school senior in the State of Delaware planning to attend post secondary in the fall semester 2023 with an interest in water resources, environmental issues, or engineering innovation.
 
Any high school senior who is a resident of the Delmarva Peninsula: Delaware, Maryland's nine Eastern Shore counties, and two Virginia Eastern Shore counties pursuing a degree path leading to employment in Delmarva's chicken industry.
 
Any 12th grade student enrolled at a Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association member high school.  Must have at least two varsity letters in each of two sports regulated by the DIAA during your high school career.
 
Any Delaware resident pursuing an post-secondary education at a technical, associate, or undergraduate program.
 
Any high school senior residing in Delaware, Maryland, and the District of Columbia planning to pursue vocational/technical skills training in an accredited post-secondary training schools.

One $2,500 scholarship available to any high school senior within the area of the Milford Rotary Club (all of Milford School District) planning to attend college/university and major in a math or science field.
 
One $2,500 scholarship available to a member of the Rotary Interact Club within the area of the Milford Rotary Club (all of Milford School District).
 
One $2,500 scholarship available to any high school senior within the area of the Milford Rotary Club (all of Milford School District) awarded based on community service and academic record during the high school career.
 
Women of the Moose, Harrington Chapter - 3 Scholarships, due April 21, 2023
 
Open to high school seniors planning to attend a four-year college/university, a community college, or a career school.  There are no minimum test scores, GPA, essay, or fees.  The Student-View Program offers one $5,000, three $1,000, and ten $500 scholarships through a random drawing of all completed application.
 
A $1,500 renewable scholarship available to a Milford High School senior who plans to enroll as a full-time education major.

Any high school senior planning a degree in environmental engineering or environmental sciences at a Delaware college/university.
 
High school senior from Kent County, Delaware who is ranked in the top 20 percent of his/her graduating class planning to attend one of the historically black colleges/universities in the Fall
 
African American/Black resident of Sussex County, Delaware graduating from a Sussex County, Delaware, public high school who is attending a public college/university in the Fall.
 
Any high school senior who resides in Delaware and attends public high school in Delaware who demonstrates community service and leadership skills, demonstrates financial need, and has achieved high academic standing 
 
Wilbur E. Postles Scholarship Due April
High school seniors who have resided in Delaware for a minimum of four years and are ranked in the tip 20 percent of his/her class.
 
Any junior or senior may submit an essay of 800 to 1,600 words on one of three topics available on the web page.
 
Any Delaware high school senior planning to study at an accredited college/university.
 
Available University of Delaware undergraduate and graduate students who are pursuing special education, psychology, linguistics, and speech pathology with a special interest in students with autism.  See link for further information and requirements.
 
For adults with an autism spectrum disorder who live in the state of Delaware, and who are pursuing college or a post-secondary educational experience.  See link for additional information and requirements.
 
Any Delaware high school who is living with a diagnosis of Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes pursuing a career in health care.
 
Union Lodge No. 7 A.F. and A.M. Masonic Education Scholarship
A $1,000 scholarship available to any senior graduating from a high school in Kent County, Delaware who demonstrates financial need and academic achievement  
 
This scholarship covers tuition and eligible fees.  Must be accepted or attending an accredited school or program in one of the following disciplines: physicians, dentist, nurse practitioner, nurse midwife, or physician assistant.
 
The scholarship is open to anyone who has been a Kent County Delaware resident for at least two years prior to the application date and is enrolled in, or has been accepted by, an accredited college or university to study Plant & Soil Science, or a Horticulture related field.

Open to MHS graduating seniors with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 and completed documented community service hours

A graduating female senior of a Delaware high public high school who will pursue a STEM degree (science, technology, engineering, math).

Outstanding young women of Delaware who exemplify the Girls Inc. mission of inspiring girls to be strong, smart, and bold while demonstrating a commitment to achieving academically and serving their community.
 
Fez Prince Hall Shriners, Fez Temple No. 231 Financial Need Scholarship
A $500 scholarship available to any Delaware senior or GED candidate who meets eligibility requirements and is planning to attend a two- or four- years college or university. 
 
Any high school senior whose parent, grandparent, or legal guardian is employed by any company located at the Port of Wilmington.
 
Any African American, Hispanic, or Native American descent senior attending high school in Delaware who is enrolling in a four-year degree program in the Fall.  Minimum GPA is 2.75.
 
 
Any graduating Senior from Milford High School who plans to pursue a career in education.
Award: Up To Three $500 Awards
 
Any graduating senior who is a son, daughter, stepson, stepdaughter, or grandchild of an eligible VFW Post 7447 (Rehoboth Beach) member, including VFW Post 7447 Auxiliary, and VFW Post 7447 Armed Forces (DD-214) member.
 
Any graduating African American high school student.
 
One $750 scholarship awarded to a deserving high school senior who has been, or is, a patient with Ahl and O'Connor Orthodontics.  Applications available in the guidance office.
